UI Web Developer Wanted

We’re seeking a whiz-bang UI Web Developer to lead the design, build, and future growth of an innovative online platform which will significantly reduce the time it takes to implement SaaS. The target audience is large and primed for innovation. Now, we need your help in bringing this pioneering solution to market. We are founded by an extremely dedicated CEO with previous start-up experience and an exceptionally knowledgeable VP of Engineering.
This developer position is tailored specifically for those experienced with UI architecture and development. The developer will build, maintain, and enhance an ASP.NET web-based user interface according to the wireframes and interaction notes using the company’s flagship product Web Services. Much of the initial development work has already begun. You’ll start with a well documented technical specification including architecture, process work flows, definitions, interaction notes and UI wireframes. Having said that, we’re looking for an individual who can take ownership of the UI and make an immediate impact.
Essential Job Functions
• Build, maintain, and enhance the company’s ASP.NET web-based product UI
• Analyze the wireframes and interaction notes to architect a design for the user interface
• Write code based upon the architecture design, established guidelines, and naming conventions
• Create CSS, master pages, and images using graphical comps
• Encapsulate all ASP.NET web application technologies into re-usable class libraries
• Create re-usable UI components
• Document all lines of code
• Test the code to verify it works based on the architected design
• Package and version the code for deployment with written instructions
• Install new version on development, test, and production servers
Required Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering required
• 1+ years of .NET web application development
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithm, and enterprise systems required
• C#, including but not limited to object-oriented practices, code reusability, inheritance, encapsulation and generics
• ASP.NET Web Applications, including but not limited to AJAX extensions, master pages, custom forms authentication, class libraries, web services (consumption), user controls and data binding
• CSS (by hand), HTML (by hand), JavaScript¸ Adobe Photoshop (for interpreting graphic design), Microsoft Visio (for workflow documentation)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Work well in a start-up environment and be able to get the job done
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Authorized to work in U.S.
• Experience with data migration is a huge plus
