New PayPal Buttons

I get asked a lot of questions about SnapPages, but by far most of those questions are about e-commerce. Mainly things like "How can I sell stuff on my site?", or "How do I add a shopping cart?". Usually I take the time to explain how you can use the code box tool to embed 3rd party tools that will do this sort of thing, but the process really should be even simpler. That's why we've just added a new web block that will add PayPal buttons directly to your pages. All you need is a PayPal business account to get started. Then you can just drag and drop a PayPal button on a page and you're done! We've added several settings that you can use to customize these buttons. You set the name of the item you're selling, the price, and currency. You can even choose a button style that looks like the default PayPal buttons (yellow and blue) or ones that automatically match your existing theme. There are three types of buttons to choose from. You can add a "Buy Now" button for selling a single item, an "Add to Cart" button for collecting multiple items into shopping carts, and a "Donation" button that allows user to make donations right on your site. I realize that this solution might not be the full blown e-commerce store some of you might be waiting on, but for a lot of you, this should be all you need to get started selling online. We've got a lot more updates that I'm really excited about coming up in the near future so stay tuned for that.
